Terms of Use

What Wordshed is
Wordshed provides free, browser-based tools for working with text and words. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Using our tools
You may use Wordshed's tools for any lawful purpose — personal, educational, or commercial. No account is required. There are no usage limits on the tools themselves.
Your content
Text you enter into our tools is processed entirely in your browser. We do not see, store, or have any access to your text. You retain full ownership and responsibility for any content you process through our tools.
Accuracy
We build our tools carefully, but we do not guarantee that results are perfectly accurate in all cases. Word counts, readability scores, anagram results, and similar outputs are provided as helpful utilities, not definitive references. If precision is critical for your use case, verify results independently.
Availability
We aim to keep Wordshed available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Tools may occasionally be updated, modified, or removed. We will try to avoid breaking changes to URLs that are linked from elsewhere.
Advertising and affiliate links
Wordshed displays advertisements and may include affiliate links. These are governed by our monetization principles and disclosed on each page where they appear.
Intellectual property
The Wordshed name, logo, original content, and tool designs are the property of Carbeck Media. The tools themselves are free to use — we are not claiming ownership of common text utilities. You may not copy, mirror, or rebrand the site's content or design wholesale.
Limitation of liability
Wordshed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Carbeck Media is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or its tools.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
